Who and how to contact
This policy covers the independent 1 in 8 billion service at 1in8billion.games. For privacy requests, access, correction or deletion questions, write to contact@1in8billion.games.
Account and security data
We store your account identifier, email, display name, verification status and authentication records. Sessions use essential cookies. Security controls can process IP addresses, user agents and short-lived request-limit records to protect sign-in and service access. Google sign-in, when enabled, supplies the basic account profile and email; we do not ask for Gmail or Drive access.
Life records and AI
We store your generated lives, language, choices, narrative and accepted AI conversation in Cloudflare D1 so you can continue on another device. During generation, the configured AI provider receives the fictional character facts and conversation required to write the next scene. Account email and payment details are not intentionally included in these prompts. Avoid putting sensitive personal information into anything you submit.
Payments
Waffo receives checkout information such as email, order reference and product details, and processes payment information under its own policies. We store references, paid amount, status and access entitlement. We do not store full card numbers or security codes. Signed billing events are retained to process payments and refunds reliably.
Providers and international processing
Cloudflare hosts the service and database. The configured inference provider, normally DeepSeek, processes story requests. Resend delivers verification emails when email login is enabled. Google is involved only when you choose Google sign-in. These providers can process data internationally under their own terms and safeguards.
Cookies and analytics
Essential authentication cookies keep you signed in. This version does not enable advertising cookies, Google Analytics, Cloudflare Workers observability or tracing. Your private story is not published to other players by default.
Retention and deletion
Account and life records remain while your account is active unless you delete them. You can delete individual lives or the account in the play area. Deletion removes the associated live application records; provider backups can expire on their own schedules. Payment providers retain their own legally required records. A trial claim remains while the account exists even if you delete its life.
Your choices
You can export stories, request correction or access, stop using optional sign-in providers and request deletion. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights and a right to contact your data protection authority. We do not sell your private story or account information.
